What is a trekking bike

Little children love riding around on their small bikes. Commercials on TV feature people using their bikes in the middle of the wilderness, and the Tour de France features riders sprinting and hiking on their specially designed bikes. At this point, many people do not know what to think of when they hear about a bike. There are so many different types of bikes out there today that many people cannot give an exact description of one type of bike. Because of the many different types of bikes out there, people do not understand the difference between the different types of bikes. One of the types of bikes that can confuse people is the trekking bike.
